This week’s thing to do in Dublin
Have the Craic are running a Theatre night this Wednesday (the 7th) so if you want to book yourself some cultural fun times get on and get your ticket!
We are going to the theatre to see Roddy Doyle’s version of Nikolai Gogol’s satirical comedy ‘The Government Inspector’ at the Abbey Theatre. It’s going to be a great night out in the run up to Christmas.
The Government Inspector – Roddy Doyle
We will have reserved seats together so that you will be sitting with either the friends that you book with or with great new friends that you will get to know on the night. It’s up to you.
‘The Mayor, the Judge, the Chief of Police and a host of the crooked characters are in an awful tailspin as a visit from a government inspector looms large on their provincial Russian town. It’s all brown envelopes and bribes as this befuddled group frantically try to keep the show on the road at all costs. But could a case of mistaken identity sabotage their efforts?
Jimmy Fay directs a colourful cast in a new version of this magnificent Gogol satire. Enjoy a night of hilarity this Christmas at the Abbey Theatre, as Roddy Doyle takes his signature wit to Nikolai Gogol’s The Government Inspector.’ – Abbey Theatre
So get booking Craicers! The tickets are only €30, that’s special Have the Craic price I’ll have you know.
It’s going to be a really good time, don’t miss out.
