Things to do in Dublin this week
Have the Craic visited different Christmas Markets this weekend to see what they were like. This week we’re visiting one that we consider good fun. So join us and get into the festive spirit. Come to the 7up Winter Wonderland enjoy it with us!
We are going to visit the Spiegel tent and Winter Wonderland at Kilmainham to have a Christmassy evening with a difference. The markets are more focussed on fun rather than crafts. Nonetheless there are many tents if you want to look for a Christmas gift such as merino wool, hats, and plenty of goodies to check out. There’s also an ice-rink so that you can try out some skating while you are there. There’s plenty of food and drink throughtout the complex. And so we’ll be flitting about the market buying and trying all that’s on hand.
Have the Craic have a reserved area in the Spiegel Tent, the antique travelling ballroom, where we’ll be having drinks and banter with some very fine company. There will be lots of drinks to choose from as well as some live entertainment so guests will be in for a real treat. We’re including a drink in the ticket so you will be able to enjoy a mulled wine or spiced cider.
It’s so easy to get to at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham with a combination of public transport and shuttle buses. I can’t wait to visit again. I think I’ll join the long queue for the Spanish Churros this time – the smell of the melting chocolate and waffle was delicious!
